The meeting ended at five.
•You could end up ! running this company if you play your cards right.
•I thought I was going to hate it, but I ended up enjoying myself.
•He had promised to work for me, but he ended up working for another guy.
•He denied everything, but ended up confessing everything
有時候end up後面還會加介係詞"with" 或"in"。
例如:
•If you continue to be so rude, you'll end up with no friends or whatsoever.
•You will end up in debt if you keep on spending money like that.
•If you keep pressing this button, you will end up with a blank screen.
•It is a low-growth, no-risk scenario, but you end up with a different sized business.
•Chances are likely that the match may end up in a draw.
